'RHOM''s Dr. Nicole Martin Expecting Baby No. 2 with Fiancé Anthony Lopez: 'We're Over the Moon!' (Exclusive) (2024)

Dr. Nicole Martin is ready to be a mom twice over!

The Real Housewives of Miami star and her fiancé Anthony Lopez are expecting their second child together, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal.

"Anthony and I wear many hats, but we always say that being parents is by far our favorite!" says Martin, 39, who shares 4½-year-old son Greyson with Lopez, 45. "We have so much fun with Greyson and are over the moon about expanding our family."

The baby is due in April, with Martin and Lopez's happy news coming as they return to television on season 6 of the reality series, which premiered Wednesday on Bravo.

And Greyson is looking forward to being a big brother too, Martin says.

"Oh, he is very excited about the addition to our family," the pregnant reality star raves. "He has been asking for a sibling for quite some time, and I know he's going to be a wonderful big brother."

To help share their joy, the couple also shared with PEOPLE a series of loving photos snapped as they posed in front of a luxurious black sports vehicle while standing in front of the iconic Biltmore Coral Gables.

For the shoot, Martin wore a white halter-top dress with an asymmetrical skirt and clear heels trimmed in crystals. Lopez kept it simple in jeans and a button-down, with brown loafers.

The pair took turns holding a newspaper cheekily dubbed Le Bebe Times. The cover story read "Baby Lopez Coming Soon!" and included a photo of Martin's ultrasound.

"Baby No. 2 on the Way!" a headline on the back page read, above a photo of the soon-to-be family of four and two positive pregnancy tests.

Martin, a board-certified anesthesiologist, and Lopez, a lawyer, met in 2015 by chance in the Las Vegas Wynn Resort lobby while on separate vacations. They dated for several years before he popped the questionon Dec. 31, 2021, while they were on vacation in Aspen, Colorado, with Greyson.

While there are many characteristics that made Martin fall in love with Lopez (including that he's "incredibly handsome"), she told PEOPLE in January 2022 that her husband-to-be is also "funny" and "sarcastic," and has a "really dark humor that not everybody appreciates."

But above all, theRHOMstar said that they "complement each other in the best ways" since they're both "ambitious individuals."

"It's hard to find someone that wants to see you succeed," said Martin. "I feel like people just don't want their partner to do well because they want to keep them in a box or they want to keep them in a cage, but I feel like we both give each other the space to spread our wings."

"At the end of the day, if you give your partner enough space, they're always going to come back. It's kind of like that whole bird in hand, let him go," she added. "And I just feel like we've got this thing where we just give each other the support that we need to grow."

As for wedding planning, that's not a priority, Martin explained on Wednesday's season 6 premiere episode of RHOM.

"We've got a lot going on," she said, noting that the pair had just moved and were starting construction to update the property. "We're about to start this huge remodeling project, Greyson's getting older and he's a handful, and I have work and everything else going on. [So] wedding planning is not at the top of my list of things to do."

When she's finally ready to tackle tying the knot, there's a good chance the two will be heading out of the country.

"I just love the idea of the destination-wedding vibe," Martin told PEOPLE in February. "In Miami, you get married, you've got four hours, and the party's over. But when you travel, you've got a welcome night, then you have a day party, then the night party, and it's four or five days where you really get to enjoy your people."

As for where their big day might take place, Martin said they have "thrown around the idea" of having their nuptials in Greece, St. Bart's and Saint-Tropez, but are just hoping for "something fun."

The Real Housewives of Miamiairs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, and the next day on Peaco*ck.
